The first and only mention of Israel in Egyptian sources is in the Merneptah Stele of the 13th century BCE. the Egyptian word was "Isrir" not IsRaEl. the context of the Stele was the victory of the Egyptian army over an alliance mainly of the Libyans and the sea people, along with other forces, one of those forces who fought on the alliance was Israel. as you can see this is a very different context from the new age spoof we get here.

I take it poisonshady takes this rather serious because she is jewish. If someone had to analyse my name and say that it comes from some offensive nation, id be up in arms as well. But poisonshady....if its not the truth...dont worry...its just an observation he made.
