Jesus second coming from South Korea (salvation, beliefs, followers, Jehovah)

My girlfriend invited me to her "church". I was going there once a week for bible study and everything seemed normal, just another SDA branch ( they have to spend the whole saturday, passover is very important , etc ). Anyhow, yesterday i was shocked by one revelation.

They finally revealed to me, according to a study of the bible called "Jesus second coming and his new name".

Their facts:
David is shadow. Jesus is realitiy.
David started ruling at age 30, same did jesus.
David ruled for 40 years, jesus only preached for 3.
According to the bible, the "Angel from the east" will come from a country to the far east of Israel. That country, they showed me in a map, is South Korea. Japan is farest east but they say the is ocean so Japan cannot be.

This guy was born in 1918. according to them, the second coming of christ will start when Israel becomes a Nation ( source in the bible i cant find ). Israel became a nation in 1948. This guy started preaching right then. He was 30, just a jesus. WHen he turned 67 ( the remaining 37 years ) , 1985, he went to heaven.
THey said the man who cames will restore passover, restore Zion, restore sabbath. ANd to start reuniting the 144000.

They define 3 ages of the christianity. First age we prayed to Jehovah, Second age we prayed Jesus, in this age, our current age we must pray to Holy spirit.
Also these guys have a big prosecution complex. THey say they will be prosecuted because of the new name ( cited the bible dont remember the verse ).

His name was: Anh Sanhg Hong. This is the new name. Their BS was all based on the biblical verses, but a person that were looking for guidance would be very convincing.

Have you guys ever heard of this? these guys seems to have followers all over the world.

what is the biblical source? There are lots of countries east of Isreal, who says its South Korea?

Does it matter what they say or what the infallable word of God says?

where does the bible say that the new name is Anh Sanhg Hong? If it is based on biblical verses what are they? And looking finally I can say something good about them, looking for guidance is a great thing and I comment them for it but, the question must be asked Who are they looking to for guidance?

I never heard of them and I can say with faith and with reason that I am not a follower of them

Dvazriel, there are over 300 differnt churchs of Christanity ....and counting non denominationals maybe over 500. All of them having slightly different interpretations of the Bible. There is no confirmed authors. There is no collaborating texts that do not use the Bible as a source. There churches who say that the Bible is still being written. There are churches that say it has been written in its entirety with only the return of Jesus left to happen. There is nothing that has ever been proven that has made any Christian church more correct than any other one.

To me the mormons have just as much truth as the Baptist. The J Witness just as much truth as the Catholics. Until any information is verifed in the Bible who is to say any of their theories are more reliable than the others?

Christanity is a schrodinger's cat still in the box. Without any collaborating evidence of any events place things or prophecies any of them is as probable as the next. Unless this church is planning a revelution based on whatever it is they believe I wouldn't worry about it too much.

If you are looking for confirmation of what they are saying you aren't going to find it anymore than you can find confirmation to other Christians versions of the Bible. It is pure spectulation at this point without any verifable evidence to support the claims.

You know what, I think I have heard of this sect before. I remember this one guy in another forum who was preaching something that sounded very similar. I think they call themselves the Church of Christ, but I think it's different than the predominat Church of Christ that was started in America. Don't they also have their own special translation of the Bible?

It's just like Nation of Islam, in a way. They say they are Muslims, but their beliefs differ greatly. I think Malcom X used to be a follower (correct me if I'm wrong).

Malcom X was the son of a baptist minister, after being thrown in prison he converted to Islam and became a radical, after his Hijj he become much more tolerant

Yeah, thanks for the replies. Im not really into religion and i cant defend myself with the Bible. Thing i believe that what they have is a cult and i usually assosiate the world "cult" as being bad. I want to get my girlfriend out, but you cant argue with people that are based on faith.
Their claims, are very valid because they interpret the Bible in a way and the verses confirm that.

However i believe in salvation in Grace, and not my works. They dont. They emphatize works ( sabbath, passover, all the feast described in the old testament ).
And based on the verses they ahve showed me, it seems Jesus did all this as well as an example.
The thing that is so weird is the workshipping of this guy, Anh Song Hong, they considered him God himself. Thats scary.
