It is immoral because it effects society negatively. Because the pursuit for pleasure effects society negatively. No, not in the short run. Engaging in pre-marital consensual sex does not harm anyone in the short run. But it does increase in humans the search for better ways to get a "kick out of life". And this search can never be truly fulfilled. And to continously be hungry for something that will never fully satisfy you is bad for you and for society.
But moreover, every pleasure comes at a cost. When society as a whole believes pre-marital sex is okay because it is with consent and because one should not deny the right of someone to seek pleasure what is forgotten is that this extra pleasure must come at a certain cost. This cost might not be visible in the short run but in the long run it becomes so. Western nations have, by example, shown that in the long run the costs of sexual freedom are: 1. Want for more freedom to pursue pleasure leading to curbing of laws relating to drugs, for example. 2. Media using this urge to seduce the poor into a lifestyle they can not truly afford forcing them to borrow. 3. Encouraging a society whose goal is not the betterment of mankind, achievement of true happiness, etc. but a society that must pursue pleasure in whatever way the law permits. Homosexuality, too, is humans trying to "break free" from laws and boundaries that nature has set for them. The human ego hates to be bound by law and liberation is its way to go. But this liberation always comes at a cost and that cost has to be born by not only the human but the society he lives in.

This is one of the problems with the evil western society, they consider something to be immoral only if it hurts others. So their understanding of morality is very narrow and unenlightened. To them immorality is basically murder and stealing, apart from that, everything is moral in their eyes.

tariq, in every society there is the brilliant. There is the great, and there is the proud. There is the affluent, the wonderful, the lascivious, the luxuriant.
All these are hated by the lowly downtrodden, who console themselves by thinking that they are more virtuous than their enemies. They believe that it is wise to be poor, to be modest, to be gentle like a lamb. But lambs are stupid. And left to themselves, will eat themselves off a cliff.
