Riverwolf,
I've also attended Catholic services and have felt a great feeling there. My wife is a former Catholic who converted to the LDS faith. It was while we were sitting in an LDS church meeting that we both began to hear angels singing, it was loud and over powered the congregation as we were singing an LDS hymn called, "Love at Home". The notes sung by these unseen angels seemed to be more numerous than those we sing on earth. We both only heard it for a few seconds. I only spoke to my wife about it after church, and she confirmed to me that she had also heard it, which I was shocked that she did, which confirmed to me that I had actual heard something not of this world, because she had heard it too. So your experience is very similar to mine, because you could confirm what you saw, and felt in the spirit, with your girl friend, so that you too could realize you were not imagining it. I would not want to see or feel a demon spirit even for a fraction of a second ever again, it's very powerful and shocking to one's spirit, but an extended vision of a demon or Hell could easily draw a person into their sorry world of pain and suffering, if God allowed such a thing to happen in a person's life.
I am waiting for the day when I can see the sights and hear the sounds of Heaven. I've only had two breif teasers, but it was enough to make me want more. I don't think one could ever get tired of the sights, sounds and smells of Heaven. Many say that Heaven will be boring, nothing could be further from the truth. Heaven is a place where Christ grants everyone the "desires of their hearts". Hell is a place in which Satan takes away everything we could ever want. Why choose Hell over Heaven, it's a no brainer. Choose life or death, it's up to us to decide. Christ gives us everything we could ever want Satan takes away everything we could ever want Last edited by FFH; 09-23-2008 at 02:23 AM. |

Somehow I doubt you believe that to be true.
