There is a difference between Bigotry and finding the root of any given problem.

I'm not saying that homosexuals are evil or bad people. I'm just saying that they have a problem and we are willing to help them in any way we can to help them overcome thier problem. thier problem to me is like any other defect if it's not a choice.

and i'f it's a choice then that's thier descision to make, but just because they want to go against nature and kill off thier lienage with them doesn't give them the right to complain about not getting married legally.

Marriage originally was never a legal matter in the first place, it was a religious matter. it was when this country was founded by people with religious influences who decided to make marriage a legal thing and make a separation of church and state.

you cannot tell me for one moment that the founding fathers had absolutely no religious influence. look at the laws in force at the time (and even now but hardly ever enforced) regarding all sorts of "sinful" activities. that is what this nation was founded on. Marriage has always been defined as husband and wife, mother and father. only RECENTLY have people been heard enough to try to convice people that homosexuality is "normal" and thier demand for the same rights as married couple to be heard.

You're right, marriage shouldn't be a government matter. So, we should take away all rights and benefits gained by marriage, then. Either that, or people remember the difference between a state marriage and a religious one.

This contradicts most of the statements you've made so far.

The family unit needs to be protected and classified before people destory it. the Family unit is the basic fundamental unit of any society.

While this is debatable, I'll agree for these purposes. Now, all you have to realize is that that fundamental unit can include gay parents. It doesn't really change anything. There's no difference between a gay couple deciding to adopt, and a straight couple deciding to adopt. They can both provide loving, happy homes.

Homosexuality is destructive to the propogation of any species.

What was that you were saying about liking truth?

It would be much more accurate to say that homosexuality is destructive to the gross overpoplation of the planet by humans.
