Have you ever noticed the similarity in descriptions of God and the Subconcious (Unconcious). There is no concept of time in the Subconcious(eternal). It is made of unknown aspects of ourselves. We can tap into it for power and invention. What we are unaware of in the subconcious can drive us to misdeeds. What we are unaware of we project onto others. You might say our subconcious is our creator. It all depends on how we relate to it.

LK interesting topic...i started a similar thread about this but i forgot where i put it
It is said that when G-d Himself spoke to the patriarchs He only did so through the conduit of dreams. I think our subconcience is our conduit to the realm of the Divine. It always reminds me of Dogma: "Humans have neither the physical nor mental capacity to withstand G-d's true voice. Were you to hear it you head would explode and your chest would cave in on itself, we went through 5 Adams before we figured that one out."

I think Jesus was a highly conscious person and he tried to teach us to become more conscious. I see the Lord's Prayer as a way he was showing us to become more conscious.
If you take the prayer step by step you can assume that Heaven is the subconscious. He then tells us to honor and hallow it and to stay open by saying Thy Will be done. He then tells us to work on it daily (give us this day our daily bread). The way we do this is by forgiving ourselves and others. We also ask the subconcious not to lead us into temptation. And it is there you will find the power and the glory. |

Does that make us responsible for weird dreams? Don't they come from our subconcious mind...I know I don't deliberatly dream bad dreams.
