I just wonder if God is a manifestation of energy built by years and years of people believing? People in general can do more with there own energies when they have a focal point. So I wonder if God was created from people to direct there energy? So is God/s floating somewhere in nowhere land this big mass of energy developed from us here on earth?
What do you think? |

It is quite possible IMO, but then that would also leave a LOT of the bible open for explanation..
..more so. |

You know, that's what I've been thinking/wondering. If the Christian god didn't exist originally, he surely must exist to some degree now from all the energy people put into him!

A taoist would think that everything is energy. And that "everything energy" is tao. So no matter what energy you use, it is tao. No matter if it has a focal point or not, it is Tao. A taoist would call this chi. And chi is the creative force of the Tao.

So in total confusion I will ask is tao a God? Or is chi a God? Or are these all just forms of energy?

god is tao, chi is tao, energy is tao. Think of Tao as god without human qualtities. More like the force from star wars. (Taoism is where george lucas got the idea from.)

The best book would be the Tao Te Ching. Chuang Tzu is next. Alot of the other books are pretty wierd cuz they get into the religious side, gods and such. Their ideas about the spirits are pretty spot on though.

Yes, and with that said would not a focas of energy on any object/being improve on its own energy? I mean if there was never a higher being, would not this "being" have been created from all the people on the earth believing it? Everything on this earth has energy, be it a rock with its small amount of vibrations. So if one believed in a rock and made it the focal point of his/her befiefs, that rock would pick up the energy from you and would raise its own vibrational energy.
