Why? Is there some rule that says that prophets can't kill people?

Why would you only care about Mohammed killing people when the Jewish scriptures are full of the same thing?
And while it's less emphasized in the New Testament, the Christian tradition certainly has had its share of holy wars. If he were the only prophet to ever pick up a sword, you would have a point. But since he's not, what I see is you applying a double standard to Islam. And btw, unless they changed the rules while I was gone, the DIRs (Discuss Individual Religions forums) are off limits for outsiders to come in and attack.

Well I believe in the Hindus avatars of Rama, Krishna etc. who also killed people. They did it to eradicate very evil and very controlling forces. However, all efforts were first made to discuss matters peacefully. When such talks failed, they stood up!

Killing people is okay... There would be too many people here, which there are... but there would be even more of too many people here if no one ever was murdered...
