Aliens and your faith (Earth, beliefs, creation, Abraham, God)

Does the concept of alien species visiting this planet contradict with your religion?

If so, specifically....how so?

I won't question any post, I just want to know why, for now.

Not really, because there are accounts in scripture that talk about the infinite reaches of God's creation, and particularly Mormon ones speak of us being comparatively more wicked than His other creations. That to me is indication that the existence of aliens would be completely harmonious to most Abrahamic religious people if they gave it sufficient thought.

i think if god can make us then he can make other life forms as well so no it dont contradict it.

i don't think aliens are going to be invading the earth anytime soon but i do think that they'll (governments) will use holograms which they can set up in the sky (they have the technology to do so now) to fake an alien invasion. if they can fake an alien invasion then they can control people, sort of like the terrorist, 9/11 thing. once the threat of terrorists is gone, they'll need a new enemy to scare people with and control them so they'll fake an alien attack.

No, not really it makes more sense that there is other life in the vast universes not necessarily intelligent and not necessarily carbon based but it is more probable than not that there is life elsewhere. As far as E.T.'s having landed on Earth, I'm not really sure about that I need a little hard evidence not speculation and conspiracy.

I don't know about my religion (my denomination) believes, but I personally know that my faith would not be contradicted if there were aliens.

In Hinduism, some of the scriptures describe some of the Hindu avatars travelling through space with flying chariots called Vimannas.

My beliefs don't really talk about aliens. I just accept that they exist and are probably already watching over people and have been doing so for thousands of years. Do they mean good for us? Don't ask me, ask ET!
