2 Nephi 29: 3-4, 6, 10
3 And because my words shall hiss forth—many of the Gentiles shall say: A Bible! A Bible! We have got a Bible, and there cannot be any more Bible.

4 But thus saith the Lord God: O fools, they shall have a Bible; and it shall proceed forth from the Jews, mine ancient covenant people. And what thank they the Jews for the Bible which they receive from them? Yea, what do the Gentiles mean? Do they remember the travails, and the labors, and the pains of the Jews, and their diligence unto me, in bringing forth salvation unto the Gentiles?

• • •
6 Thou fool, that shall say: A Bible, we have got a Bible, and we need no more Bible. Have ye obtained a Bible save it were by the Jews?

• • •
10 Wherefore, because that ye have a Bible ye need not suppose that it contains all my words; neither need ye suppose that I have not caused more to be written.

There are "bodies celestial, bodies terrestrial and bodies telestial," just as there are fowls in the air, beasts in the field and fish in the sea.

Why would you rather be a beast than a fowl ???

so its not biblical? ok!

What other LDS doctrines were not taken from the bible? specifically those that Joseph Smith recevied directly from YOUR christ?

Hmm. My redeemer is the redeemer of all mankind. Who atoned for the sins of the world. What Redeemer do you have?

Ummmm. You want a list?

Sorry but I don't have a Christ that is exclusive to me. The Christ I believe in is the Saviour of the whole universe.

Default Questions on Mormon Undewear power only...

I'm defintely not interested in your particular set of Mormon underwear. I just want to understand the claims of Mormon underwear, and the spiritual powers that come with them. I think many other non-Mormons are interested in the spiritual powers of your underwear. Can non-Mormons buy a pair of spiritual underwear for extra-spiritual power and protection too? Does Mormon underwear protect you from physical harm too? Can I buy a pair directly from this internet site?

The one who wants the members of his church not be greedy with earthly things.
specifically 'lust of the flesh" among others.

The Christ i know is the savior of all man kind too, but there is a catch you have to follow his word, especially if you heard it and understood what it means.

That is a general rule. in the End God can extend mercy to those he want to extend his mercy.

Yes, what other revelations did your Christ reveal your prophet? (i know, the one which allowed him all the virgins he can have sex with is not included in this thread)

Sounds like the Christ we believe in are the same.

You mean, what revelations did the Christ of the Bible reveal to Joeph Smith? Cuz, the Christ of the Bible is the Christ I believe in. If you believe in a different one that's up to you.

But anyway. I'm not sure exactly what revelations would go into that list. Maybe someother LDS know what could be put into that list.

Wow. It's clear you don't understand the "subject-that-shall-not-be-mentioned".

How many LDS members own another Bible translation other than the KJV with notes by Joseph Smith? Do you consider the notes by Joseph Smith to be inspired and binding to all Mormons? I believe someone stated that the Joseph Smith translation is inspired (JSIV). What does that mean? It the LDS church accepts the Bible as truth "as long as it is correctly translated", does it mean that the KJV is more accurate than the Joseph Smith partial translation of the Bible? I understand that the KJV with Joseph Smith's notes is the official Bible used by the official Mormon Church, correct?

Correct.

The LDS KJV has many of the Joseph Smith Inspired Version corrections, but does not include all of them, that's why I bought a copy of the entire JSIV, so that I could see what and where the inspired correction are.

There is a side by side comparison text you can buy, which shows exactly where the inspired corrections are.

Go to DeseretBook.com and type the key words "Joseph Smith Translation" in the search bar and it will come up or I'll provide a direct link in a minute.

Just looked at that website and I can't find the side by side version anymore. It had the KJ side by side with the JSIV next to it, just the inspired corrections. The KJ is a good 90 percent intact, but the inspired corrections make for a great read. Nothing more important on this earth to read (Joseph Smith Inspired Version) other than the Book of Mormon and the Doctrine and Covenants.
