What did the pagans stand for?

What rules were written?

Are all the non-Christians being lumped together?

Do people realize that post-Roman Europe did not flip a switch and suddenly become Christian?

I see no point whatsoever to this thread. If somebody has a historical point to make then make it.

People set the rules. A cultural transition from one religious belief to another might change the ... rules ... that culture lives by. This is nothing new.

"Pagan" belief these days in the modern world are not based on any record. They are essentially "reconstructed".

This leaves a lot of room for error in reconstruction.

What did the Druids of Briton believe? We don't know, Caesar stamped them flat, and the only written records are stone plaques in a language no one can read.

Scott

Too true.

I wonder how far back the term Pagan gets applied. It's not really helpful when it's nothing more than a synonym for non-Abrahamic.

Your right but Pagans in general follow the same path as did the older Pagans before them, granted Druidism is an oral tradation much is Witchcraft is & it's more passed down though famalies then anything else.
