Apparently, you think Jesus didn't claim to be God, yet felt he had the authority to forgive a paralytic's sins.

And of course, he says it in John a whole bunch of times. I think it's pretty obvious to anyone who reads the New Testament that Jesus thought he was the Christ, the Son of the Living God.

The SOn of God is not God Himself.

Not one of your verses is in context. If you're going to quote ambiguous verses, then you're going to have to quote the verses AROUND it as well. Otherwise, I could tell you all sorts of things that the Bible DOESN'T ACTUALLY SAY.

If these interpretations are correct, why do you think that Christians wrote the Bible, preserved for thousands of years, and even use it openly today while believing that Christ is God?

I agree, these verses say that God is One God, which Christians still confess, and most of us - at least the Orthodox churches - always have.

LOL. You're quoting the other thread. Unfortunately you need to get a smellier herring to drag across the trail.

Maybe the staff could merge this thread with Is Jesus God in the Flesh, there really is no sense in doing this twice at the same time.
