But you pointed out NO hypocrisy. All you pointed out were grammatical inconsistencies. I find that an anal way to discuss the real issues. We surely don't need the "Grammar Police" to pull our discussion off topic. Isn't there some Hall you need to monitor?

The hypocrisy was that Heneni was correcting someone else on his grammar mistakes, while making several of her own. I think in this case DarkSun's grammar policing was relevant.

But really: we are (mostly) adults here. We surely don't need Grammar Police who bring up these strawman statements. Let's just stick to the DISCUSSION at hand. |

I just stumbled into this thread, and I have not read the preceding 11 pages of posts.
With that said, I only have one issue with atheism: From a purely logical standpoint, one cannot espouse atheism. One can never prove a universal negative (i.e. there is no God). Just as one cannot unequivocally say that there is no pink elephant in the adjacent room, one cannot universally deny the existence of God. Thus, based solely on the limits of logic and rational thought, I am an agnostic, that with each passing day of my life, comes closer and closer to being an atheist, without ever quite arriving.

Yes, we are. It's relatively painless, but somewhat annoying to know that the destination is unachievable. ![]()
