But you pointed out NO hypocrisy. All you pointed out were grammatical inconsistencies. I find that an anal way to discuss the real issues. We surely don't need the "Grammar Police" to pull our discussion off topic. Isn't there some Hall you need to monitor?

The hypocrisy was that Heneni was correcting someone else on his grammar mistakes, while making several of her own. I think in this case DarkSun's grammar policing was relevant.

Not in that post. Two wrongs don't make a right here. Perhaps if he referenced the post where she had done this heinous act, it would have gone over better.

But really: we are (mostly) adults here. We surely don't need Grammar Police who bring up these strawman statements. Let's just stick to the DISCUSSION at hand.

It was a reaction to a grammar policing action. The irony is that your comments are now taking the thread even more off topif. One person took a jab at another for a grammar error, and then she made a few herself, so someone else called her on it. It's not a big deal, and in the next post DarkSun got back on topic.

I just stumbled into this thread, and I have not read the preceding 11 pages of posts.

With that said, I only have one issue with atheism:

From a purely logical standpoint, one cannot espouse atheism. One can never prove a universal negative (i.e. there is no God). Just as one cannot unequivocally say that there is no pink elephant in the adjacent room, one cannot universally deny the existence of God.

Thus, based solely on the limits of logic and rational thought, I am an agnostic, that with each passing day of my life, comes closer and closer to being an atheist, without ever quite arriving.

That's very true. The difference is that I don't consider it worth wondering about. It's like, I think, 9-10s Penguin has said, it's possible that the Grocery store won't be there when I go to stop for milk on the way home, but until I get there, I'm going to assume it's there. It's just not worth worrying about all the time. That is what makes me and many others atheists. It's not that we say "There is absolutely no God without question", we just say "There is not enough evidence to worry about the question, so I'm going to assume there is not unless someday it is proved otherwise".
