Forget that. I want ALL TYPES in power. Not just atheists, but theists and agnostics as well. We need a PLURALITY and not a SINGULARITY in our government.

What i find wrong with atheism is that they seem so confident that god does not exist, yet they have to keep on harping on the matter. Its like they have to keep on posting that god does not exist in an effort to help them believe it.

When an atheist wants to insult a christian, they use our god, thinking that we will feel ashamed of the fact that we believe he does exist.

Most atheist underestimate the intelligence of a christian, and think that there is something wrong with our minds. They think we use god as some coping mechanism.

I dont think that it is any co-incidence that an atheist doesnt believe either. I think they were meant to not believe.

I don't particularly have a problem with atheism, but I do have problems with a particular class of atheists.

Generally, they are the kind who make vast generalisations about religion having clearly not developed much or any understanding of religious doctrines. The kind who assume that just because you are theist you don't understand science well enough, or are dumb. Or indeed the kind who believe that science even has the capacity to prove the non-existence of God which is a ridiculous assertion in itself.

Mind you, I think that brand of atheist is equally matched by the theists who have no clue what they are actually supposed to believe and so spout drivel in response to any rational argument, who really are dumb and have no clue about science but pretend that they do, and genuinely believe God is objectively provable.

I wouldn't be sure I had any less contempt for the latter than the former.
