Well I'm sorry but some things we just can't know for certain. Maybe someday we'll understand it better. But at the moment these are the best explanations we have.

Holy head-shaped hole-in-the-wall Batman! Do you think throwing bricks at it would work better?
I don't know Robin, but it might just save some headaches! To repeat what some here have already said, both in this thread and the other... EVOLUTION HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ORIGIN/BEGINNING OF LIFE!!! There are theories of how the first life forms got here to evolve, but the Theory of Evolution is not one of them. One of the most popular theories is that when the giant comet/planetoid that is now our moon originally struck the forming Earth, mixing its dust and ice particles with the now spinning Earth, that it transferred already existing organisms in the ice to the Earth and melted. That these organisms remained dormant in the crust and the forming oceans of the Earth until such time as it was feasible to thrive and multiply again. Where those original organisms came from within the galaxy or universe, who's to say. But at least that is the theory being bumped around now. Other than that...we are dealing with a question for which the answer is rooted so many billions of years ago that it is impossible to really come up with anything concrete. Now that is not to say that since we can't know for sure that the only reasonable answer is that "God" placed life here. Deity, in some form, may well have planned that life would spawn here, that may be, but cannot be ascertained from lack of knowledge. Just because you don't know how something works for sure doesn't give any logic to chalking it up to "God must have done it". The Theory of Evolution just explains what happens to life forms. That is to say, there must be life first in order for the Theory of Evolution to work. Therefore, requiring that proponents of evolution explain the origin of life in order to validate themselves becomes a stupid and feable argument.

To answer your question, No. Logic and empiricism is what most atheists cling to something theists fear because these tools disprove the theory of god.

Read Richard Dawkins(evolutionist) "The God Delusion", maybe evolution can be used to disprove the existence of a god.
