All religions, in fact, have become mere 'belief' systems - organizations dedicated to historical 'man-made' traditions, rituals, intellectual dogmas and theories. They only comprehend the Spirit/God on an intellectual/emotional/psychic level.
The Masters, from whom the religions claim their origin, revealed a very real EXPERIENCE of the Spirit - a Mystical, 'Visionary' Experience, which only a living Master can reveal (by the personal 'laying on' of His, or an appointed Apostle's, hand - Acts 8:16-18 "because the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. When Simon saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money."). This true Initiation (or 'Fire' Baptism) which was given privately by Jesus and His appointed Apostles (as well as all other genuine Masters throughout history) actually revealed the Mystery of the LIGHT of God (i.e. "FIRE" Baptism). Moses also saw this LIGHT and described it as like a "burning bush" which was not consumed, i.e. is ETERNAL! Such Mystic experiences have long been forgotten by institutionalised religion, and only vague teachings of truth remain. For anyone seriously interested in REAL SPIRITUALITY and the true GNOSTIC/MYSTIC EXPERIENCE, I would recommend taking a look at this: "THE GNOSTIC WAY - CLICK HERE." I'm not sure what you mean by "Lol" - "Lots of laughs", or "lots of love"?
![]() Did you like the site? If you are 'gnostic' you should feel quite at home there. PLU ~ ![]() |

A. Ben-Shema, I don't know if you've ever heard of the Quakers, but they, or should I say, we believe in a personal experience of God also.

Gotta say, I don't appreciate being lumped into that generalization.

Hey... I got an idea! Start a new thread about your personal gnostic/mystic experience and I can read all about why not to "lump" you in the future! Looking forward to hearing about your spiritual vision. S |
