Why are there no jokes in the bible? Is it because God has no sense of humor?

Don't the atheists tell us theism is a joke?

What religious texts outside of the Bible have jokes? I have never seen any? Traditionally even in philosphy I have never remembered reading a joke in the subject material. Jokes are generally conducted by sources outside of the material instead of intrensically incorporated into it from my experience.

Well , as Robtex pointed out , there isn't a whole lot of humor in any written Religion that I know of . Oral Traditions appear to use humor much more then written ... I wonder why that is ?

Socrates, and Plato's interpretation of Socrates in The Apology had humor by way of biting sarcasm.
