I know everyone here has a different view of the bibical Satan my question is what did he really do wrong?
When Prometheus Brought fire from the Gods to man wasn't he really just trying to help? Wasn't Satan trying to help man? Why was God try to hold us back? Was God scared that we would not need him anymore? Don't you want your children to be all they can be in life? Why would God not want us to do the same? Zeus punished Prometheus when he gave fire to man so why did God punish everyone? Genesis 3:22 says Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever. That verse brings up one more question who is US?? ![]() Sorry about so many questions at once the more I wrote the more I has to ask!

The "suffering hero" myth may serve as an allegory to the sacrifice a hero must make, making heroic actions all the more selfless.
Heros are often displayed as martyrs. making their cause all the more powerful. The hero-rebel takes the inevitable punishment for the good of humanity, bearing the cross in a sacrifice that makes them immortal.

That is the way I look at the story of Adam and Eve. God wished to keep man (and women) in ignorance. If you pay close attention nakedness is considered a sin, yet God keeps this knowledge from them. Satan in this instance is the saviour of mankind and the hero. It is all the more possible (if I believed Satan existed) that the calling of Satan as the embodiment of evil in the Bible is proganda and slander. Us is the pantheon of Gods.

Satan was and still is a beautiful angel who was in charge of heavenly music. His talents impressed everyone, including himself. There was some issues about who should be in charge and when the dust settled, Satan had convinced one third of the angels in heaven to leave with him. These immortals still live and posses heavenly powers.
This is a high stakes game of who is right and who is wrong. Who is all powerful and who is weak. Who can win the most souls and eventually who will win the war of Armageddon. Satan is the great deceiver. His charismatics and charm has even convinced himself that he will prevail. There are many prophecies in the Bible. Many have already came to pass. All the Devil has to do is read the last book in the bible to see what his fate is. Satan believes he is all powerful and will disprove the Biblical prophecies. He has deceived himself and he will decieve you if you let him. He tempted Jesus and he tempts us all daily. Satan is not weak and his power is to be respected. Even God must release him for a little reign after he is bound for a thousand years. Why is that? Why does the Lord have to release him before he casts him into the lake of fire? Why does Satan get a last flight among us all? Satan has the power to read our thoughts just as God does.

It's ironic that the true martyr could very well (and definitely is as far as I'm concerned) be the one who's sacrifice is so complete that he's still hated to this day. |

Yes, Satan is indeed a hero who was punished to unjustifiable ends by a god with a severe ego problem.
