More often than not, those wanting to find biblical evidence for homosexuality being a sin will eventually resort to the NT, since the OT is filled with bunch of goodies we're all deserving of death for. However, the New Testament verse which I see most often used in arguements is Rom. 1:26-27, which can be the source of great problems if homosexuality were proven to be genetic or biological.

It states:

"For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due."

I bolded the parts I want you to examine. If homosexuality is biological and/or genetic, it's impossible for them to leave or exchange "natural" partners. There would have been no, "juncture (if you will)," for which they could leave.

Christian literalists would either have to reapproach the Bible entirely or see the use of the word "nature" as something different. Either way, the idea that homosexuality is a sin would be contradictory.

As far as i know, no body could prove that there is a gay gene. So?

good luck " PROVING" that.

no one is forced to have sex. Sex is a CHOICE, and who you have sex with is a choice.

its not a choice to be black , white, mexican, etc.
nor if you are a little person
nor if you have black hair and green eyes

but its your own FREE WILL in regards to who you jump in the sack with.
