"In all affairs it's a healthy thing now and then to hang a question mark on the things you have long taken for granted." --Bertrand Russell
Do you agree?

Questioning your own beliefs helps you grow both intellectually and in wisdom.

My favorite Russell Quote
Fear is the main source of superstition, and one of the main sources of cruelty. To conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom. Bertrand Russell

You must be able to always go back and reexamine what you have held your whole life. Self evaluation is a great sign of modesty and selflessness.

I love the phrase "An open minded skeptic". I think it perfectly sums up how everything should be viewed.
My second favorite phrase is: "First, seek to understand, then, seek to be understood". TVOR

I know that my beliefs have grown and evolved through questioning. I think when we stop questioning and think we know all we need to know we become arrogant, insufferable and closed-minded. I hope to never quit questioning and learning, thinking and growing. It is what makes life interesting and challenging.
