If a psychologist were to read the bible and analyze God's character in the same way he or she would analyze a patient's character, what would the psychologist conclude about God? What kind of person is God? What's His character like? Does God have any pathologies, or is He relatively healthy? What do you think?

I think God would have a superiority complex, as well as antisocial behavior and schizophrenia.

God would want you to psychoanalyze the people who wrote about God.

If God were analyzed in today's world, he would be classified as loopy.

Psychoanalyzed using the bible? Well, let's see here...
In the Old Testament we find evidence of a severe Dominance Complex--he seems to need to be in control of everything at all times, and acts violently to those who oppose his will. He displays wastefulness and poor planning in his many instances of destroying his own creation in favor of his 'chosen people'. Most prolific, in my opinion, is his seeming 'Needy' Complex: the number of times when he sets up ridiculous traps for his 'chosen people' to fall into, so that he can punish them for disobeying and have them come runningg back to him are too numerous to count. In fact, he closely resembles the antics of a stalker in that area. In the New Testament, we don't hear much about god--mostly just about his son Jesus. However, we are all of the sudden provided with this image of god as merciful and compassionate, which suggests some sort of Bipolar disorder when compared to his perogatives of choice in the OT. God shows an acute amount of sadism in his execution of his own son. In Revelation, poor planning and strategic skills are displayed as he messily battles Satan. On the whole, I think it's safe to say that god should be committed, or at the very least demoted.

They could say she was a dominatrix with a gender identity problem.

Does the god of the bible suffer from anhedonism -- an aversion to pleasure? (Anhedonism is a common symptom of such disorders as major depression.)

God recieves His only pleasure by seeing the world live in peace, and that all that follow Him are safe and well-being.
