Does God Answer All Prayers? (soul, verse)

Lets say for argument's sake that God answers the prayers of those who are faithful to him. Just a hypothical. In my hypothical he has to reject some of them based on his infinite knowledge of future bad things that will happen if he does committ to the said proposed instance of divine intervention. But he does most of them...say 50-75 % being closer to 75 %......

two things:

Religion, which has always been regarded as a top down management system would now be a democratic religion where gods subjects make the rules to...thus God would no longer be monotheic in presense. He would be a God with a committee of subjects who helped him with acts of divine intervention.

God could not be omnipotent if he granted wishes in the forms of prayers..he would be allocating his power making mankind partially divine by association.

Lets say the Christians or Muslims or Jews (three big religions that pray), all ask for favors but since only one of them is right God only answers their prayers the most followed by the others. He is communicating with them but not telling the other two they are close but no cigars? Prayer is an act of two way commnunication....if God answered prayers man would have no questions or dissagreements about the nature of God.

Also, if God answered prayers it would be measurable. As it turns out it is not. What I mean is that by studying the #'s of prayers given we could break down into percents which ones get through (which again would answer once and for all the one true religion---if there really HAS TO BE ONE), and what types got the highest response rate and the other factors that could correlate attemps and events.

If some of the posters feel God answers prayers could you please construct a table or paradign that shows how many which ones and future prayers.....I think nobody measures because it just does not happen.

Interviewer: Do you answer prayers?


GOD: EveryONE answers prayers. A common belief is that ALL prayers must BE addressed to ME in order to BE answered. This is INCORRECT. I receive prayers, as does any other entity. If I receive them personally, I do not interfere or enact on them, but I do make sure that they are given to the proper channels. These channels examine the cause and the reasoning behind prayers and see that they are given the appropriate guidance and direction to effect the outcome of this prayer.

There are many types of prayers. I assume the ones that YOU are referring to are prayers for help or strength or some type of request. Is this CORRECT?



I: Yes, that would be a fine place to begin because these are the most common.



G: That is INCORRECT, I get just as many prayers of praise as I do requests.



What about the person we pray for who is dying of an incurable disease?



You soon notice he or she is quickly recovering due to the power of prayer. The more people you can bring into prayer, the more powerful it will become. If the person with the incurable disease does not recover, this does not mean prayers were ignored or unheeded. It just means it was within the PURPOSE of this BEing (or person) to pass on at this time.



This is when people seem to lose their faith in ME. And this is why I do not buy into faith. I received the prayer and have sent it to the proper channels. But if it is within the will of the BEing that these prayers go unfulfilled, it is only because it is not within the PURPOSE for this BEing to receive the effects of that particular prayer. It is not MY will that must BE done but the will and the PURPOSE of the individual BEing who has chosen a PURPOSE before incarnating into a physical existence that must BE done. Do you UNDERSTAND?

Yes, in a sense I AM.



What about the other prayers, the prayers of praise?



I like those.



I'm sure.



I receive many of these prayers often.



Are they valid?



I would like to think so. Although I do not think they are necessary. I believe that everyONE should pray and praise everyone, yet they put too much emphasis on ME. I have hardly done many of the things people praise ME for…like sitting down to a meal. Why are you thanking ME for the meal? I didn't cook it. I didn't butcher the cow or pasteurize the milk. Praise the people actually involved with the meal. Say a short prayer for the cook. Take the time to go out to the grocery store and thank the butcher for that fine cut of meat or write a letter to the milk company telling them how much you appreciate its products. What about the entity that created potatoes? How about tipping your hat in their favor for the idea of the potato. There are many entities to pray for. Think about this next time you say grace before a meal.



What about the Lord's Prayer?



Let's talk about that, shall WE. The most repeated prayer next to "GOD, can I have some money?" is the Lord's Prayer.



What's wrong with it?



There is nothing right or wrong with it. In some religions, this prayer is the staple of their beliefs and that is fine. The first thing I should say about the Lord's Prayer or similar prayers is this: They are "model" prayers – prayers designed specifically to give humans a prepared device for communicating with GOD.
ALL(WAYS) keep in mind that prayers are thoughts. YOU and I are praying right now. There is no structured form to praying. There is no standard to praying. Even with prayers you have recited since you were young, ALL these prayers get heard. But do people actually realize what they are praying for and about? Do people really like to hear themselves proclaim the same prayer over and over again? These are questions best asked of each individual.
Well-spoken prayers are the ones that ask for guidance.



And forgiveness?



I cannot grant forgiveness for someone. TRUE forgiveness comes from within. You may pray for guidance on "How to Help Forgive Someone" if you do not find it within yourself.

You will receive answers to your prayers. ALL prayers that are of an inquisitive NATURE do not go unanswered. BE alert and listen. If you cannot listen or refuse to listen, ALL(WAYS) BE prepared to BE shown the answer through other stimuli. Answers to prayers come swiftly and assertively.



Do not BE ashamed or disappointed or regretful if your answers do not come out the way you have anticipated them. This is not the fault of GOD not caring or listening. This is the TRUTH that the prayer is not meant to BE, whether it is for you or someone else. There is a PURPOSE to ALL prayers and ALL thoughts. Mostly, the problem with the outcome of prayers is the inactivity of the person requesting the prayer. It ALL falls back on that old adage that "if you want something to happen you may have to make it happen yourself." Prayers are not wishes; there is no such thing as Santa Claus or genies, either.



Does GOD pray?



Often. I AM getting quite good at it, too.
