So... let me get this straight. I can be a 'non-believer', and on my deathbed pray for forgiveness and I'll go to Heaven? Seems like a sweet deal. Although, I have to wonder, what's the point in religion if that's the case? I live a decent, moral life and somehow, I'm cursed with this disease. Now, isn't it flawed that in life, we're supposed to worship God and yet, don't really have to just as long as you pray in those few seconds before you die?

Well, it depends on what you believe. I have heard that the Satan is the one who drags us into Hell, and Jesus will pull those who ask out of his grasp. On the other hand, just look at what some of the others have written.

Personally, I don't think it really matters what happens in the afterlife. What's important is for you to live your life based on what you believe to be right. But at the same time, learn what is safe to do for you and others, and don't do anything that will hurt others or yourself. That's the most important thing to me.

As much as I agree with your statement, what's the point, really? As human beings, most of us are conditioned to do what's right. I can't speak for others, but I've lived a normal, morally sound life... In other words, I've done what's right. What then, when life throws you a rotten bone? Did I live right for no reason? If my life is as unimportant to the world as it seems to be, why is it necessary to live right? Granted, I personally couldn't have lived any other way. That's just me. But I see the greed and the criers that 'hurt' because of a headache and I see how many people are flocking to help me in my time of need and I have to ask, "Why?" I helped them, but when I'm at my darkest hour...

I like this, except comparing Christ to Johnny Cochran leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Part of the "hiring" is our own repentance. A certain client of Mr. Cochran, didn't even admit or confess the crime/sin, much less repent.

But basically, I pretty much agree here.
