One of my professors told me that children who have died and haven't been baptized are placed in a different area than those that have at the burial site.
Is there any truth to this?

Hi,
Years ago when my sister had a stillborn child who had not been baptized, that child was indeed buried in a different part of the Catholic cemetery than others. However, I know that in at least some Protestant cemeteries this is not the case. I also don't know if the Catholic church still does this kind of thing or not. And I can't speak for any other form of religion because I just don't know the answers. I assume that in the Jewish faith this would not happen as they don't practice baptism to my knowledge.
