Wouldn't that be God?

I believe that everything is one. Even though it has parts that differ from each other, but are still part of the one. Some call this Tao, others buddha nature, others brahma, etc... A man is different from a woman, but they are still human. Humans are different from dogs, but they are still animals. Animals are different from plants, but they are still "life". Everything is connected, and all is one.

I think Universal Consciousness is different from what we think of as God. It is unknowable. I think of it as something that is far beyond me and my understanding, but keeps me striving to improve.

Some would say that God is unknowable.

Many give God traits, that isn't recognizing that something is unknowable.

Since the Catholic Church is Universal/Catholic Church, doesn't your question imply a Catholic/Universal Soul?
