The original WORD of GOD, the Torah, begins with a B, the second letter in the alphabet, the numerical value of 2, meaning in part, 2 worlds, this world and the world to come. This is how He created them.
When this world comes to a close there is the world to come. If one doesn't believe God, and his Torah, then the beer commercial is right "You only go around once, so grab all the gusto you can get."

Well I was referring to those who don't believe in god. Do they still believe in an afterlife and if not why not?

Maybe. I don't see why it couldn't. Hmm... could God/s/esses exist without there being an afterlife?

I think some people who don't believe in God, believe in reincarnation.
