BTW, doesn't it seem odd to everyone that all these threats of terrorism always happens but no actions ever taken? I mean there are never any attacks since the 9/11. It also seems odd to me that the american media and all these other media outlets always know what the Al-Qaida is doing but can't catch them. If I were running a secret plan to destroy stuff I wouldn't cantact the news people, would you?

I agree, Muslims are not interested in World Domination, but Al Qa'dai is. And what are you talking about? Did you not see the bus bombs go off in England or the train blow up in Spain. Terrorism is a constant threat and always has been. It hasn't always been an Islamic faction that caused it but the use of violence to create a state of fear in a population is as ancient as war itself.

I personally don't see that as making it more legit. There is a lot of anti-Muslim sentiment in India right now.

It hasn't always been an Islamic faction that caused it but the use of violence to create a state of fear in a population is as ancient as war itself.

I agree that fear to control is a popular method used by dictators and thier ilk. I'm not talking about that so much as I am talking about things going down in America. Nothing has really happened since the whole 9/11 and anthrax deal. Every so often we get a high alert thingy going on, but nothing comes of it. I just think its odd that so many people know what al qaida is up to, but no one can catch them or know where they are.....supposedly. Wouldn't it be easy to simply get hooked up with the person thats spilling the beans, infiltrate and destroy? Isn't that what these special ops military people supposed to be good at? I mean we're pretty smart right? Agencies like the CIA, FBI, and others like it in other countries always set spies around. So how hard is it to spy on alqaida? Evidently SOMEBODY spying on them, otherwise they wouldn't have access to all this "secret" info.

Al Qaida isn't that potent, smart, armed, or rich, to take over the world. They can't even take over the countries they're in.

Lashkar-e-Toiba is out of Indonesia I think. Still, I don't know enough about them to say one way or the other.

What the Hindu are doing to the Muslims is horrible and I have always been glad our church was offering support to the Muslims. Persecution comes in many flavors and they all taste bad.

Al Qaida learned from Afghanistan. If you don't take over the country, no one can invade you. They have more power as a shadow organization that exists without borders. Since folks like Slick Bill Clinton didn't see the importance of a strong CIA with Arab speaking and ethnic backgrounds, no it isn't easy to spy on them. We simpley do not have the agents in the right locations and it will take years to get them there. You can just head over to the local community college and recruit some Arab looking students then air drop them into Syria and expect them to be welcomed with open arms. That doesn't even happen in the comic books. I'm not sure how this fantasy started that the process should be easy but for some reason I want to blame Hollywood.
