i question some of there interpitation some seems to me that they have more of a religus background than a UFO. take for example of the cave drawing or hyrogrph in the 1 min 26 secs of the move, sure it looks like a strange UFO but to me it seems more like an angle or Christ in glory decending to the people. eather way to say for sure what way some of these symbols go and what they are intened by the auther to reprasent could be two completely differnt things or something else althogether.

I mentioned in a previous thread that Hindu writing mention that the avatars of God flew in Vimannas or flying chariots. They flew from one region of space to another. There is even the story of Vamana Avatar. This was when the Lord came as a midget to defeat an unrighteous ruler named Bali. Vamana Avatar came to Bali and being dressed as a holy person, he was asked for a wish. Vamana Avatar requested three paces of land - ie. land which he could cover in three footsteps. Bali was surprised that this was all he asked for but he had to fulfill his promise. Vamana Avatar grew as tall as the skies and with his first two footsteps, he covered the earthly regions and the heavenly region and since he did not have a third place to step, Bali offered his own head in order to fulfill the promise. Thus Bali was defeated. Okay, you must be wondering what my point is. My point is that the heavenly regions were physical ie to allow Vamana to step on it - therefore it must have been a piece of land and since it was in a different region, it could have been a planet.

This would not change religion as I know it because even if aliens are divine creatures, then who made the very first alien?

It would certainly change a lot of how we view the universe, life, and history, so I think it would change my spirituality, since spirituality is an extension of my worldview.

Not if religious texts are being used to demonstrate that there are aliens.

Excellent topic and a very informative episode yuvgotmel. Unfortuntely I spent all my research and defense on this thread (which is still interesting to revisit)

What is easier for you to believe?

…That angels and "god" came down from "heaven" and spoke to humans?
and... Jesus was born of a virgin and a "star" guided the wise men to Jesus' location and "stopped and hovered" above?
and...in a battle with the Amalekites, the Earth stopped rotating (so the sun did not go down), yet the Earth did not lose its' centripetal force nor spin out of orbit?
and...a cloud led the Israelites around the wilderness?
and…a chariot took Elijah into “heaven”?
and…Jesus rose into the clouds?
and…a “god” that has form?
and..a savior that will come down riding on the clouds?
and…a city that will drop out of the sky and land on Jerusalem?


OR…All of that and much more was orchestrated by creator beings (known as ALIENS)!?!?!
