I'm afraid that the Baha'i scriptures state that humanity can never comprehend God, and that aside from the things His Divine Messengers teach us about Him, trying to do so is futile!

to me, God is expressed in the Word- that which manifests itself to us day to day. e.g. through one another, inner promptings, inspiration, such things. these i feel are the signs of God among us and for us- that which encourages us to love, to sacrifice, to adore, to be grateful.
