For that matter, how can you insult a God? A God is so far above us that the very worse insult we could think of to hurl at a God would mean less to that God than it would mean something to us if an ant chose to spit at us. So, how can you insult a God?

I don't think we can insult God, but not because God is to us like we are to ants.

You don't insult a religion as such, however to make up lies about a certain religion is blaspheming against the religion. A true believer in God will not go down this route (insulting religion - any religion) as it is a sin against God. It is one thing to discuss (to state what you believe according to your scriptures) but another to mock another's belief. Hurling insults (to another's faith) is akin to hurling insults at God.

We are not hurting God by any form of mockery to religion. Insults to God lead you further away from the path of truth.
We are hurting ourselves by fragmenting/causing divisions.

I do not believe that you can insult anything that is man made, in and of itself, but rather the one who made it by insulting his creation. Those that believe in said creation may feel insulted but in reality they are not but rather only feeling pains for the one that was truly insulted. Kinda like a man that shows symptoms of labor pains when his wife is pregnant.

Well, I haven't the knowledge on any other gods other than man, and they seem so infeminate, and vain, these days they tend to be offended at the drop of a hat by taking on the role of Eve and or allowing Eve to either take away or belittle his Elohim given status as headship, but I do know that YAH my Elohim states that He is a jealous El and that He hates sin so much that those of His creation that does so defiantly will be made as if they never was. I would have to say that the quickest way to insult YAH would be to disobey Him continually and with defiance. Look at Ex 32:7-10.......

Exo 32:7 And YAH said unto Moshe', Go, get you down; for your people, which you broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:

Exo 32:8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be your gods, O Israel, which have brought you up out of the land of Mitsrayim.

Exo 32:9 And YAH said unto Moshe', I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:

Exo 32:10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of you a great nation.

Even after all that YAH had done for them they still chose to turn away from His love and protection. What idiots...... but hey ........... we all still do it today.

I would have to say that I disagree with you on that where it pertains to Scripture. I understand that it is the complete opposite. The carnal man feels nothing for anything spiritual. He only cares for those carnal, earthly and vain things. That is what insults man. Using the vain mind against that carnal being will get them every time. But Scripture said that you can only sin against Elohim. It is His laws of Holiness and Morality that we offend and in concert insult the Most High, YAH Elohim. One cannot insult man but rather mans vanity. You insult YAH by sin. If you create sin that has to do with the Morality laws where it pertains to how we are all suppose to treat one another and live with one another then it may look on the surface that we have sinned against man but we first have done so to YAH. He is the Creator and these laws are His that He ordained by way of the malakim unto man as the "Instructions" that we must follow to stay in favor, grace, with Him. To fall out of favor, grace, with Him would mean that we have some how offended Him by insult where we didn't keep the Creators "Instructions" and He may feel that the pot that He has just made is imperfect and that He needs to destroy it.

For many this may seem to be a bit of rambling but it is how I understand it. Duh-Huh!
