I need help for my term paper for school. I want to write on how I think that young people of today are converting to Judaism because Judaism is prominent in todays entertainment. Thing is, I don't know if I believe this because I can not find any information or evidence anywhere to back up this statement. What I ask is, does anyone one have an opinion on this or any links or leads to any information pertaining this topic?

Islam and Christianity both attract far more converts than Judaism, both in actual numbers - which is not surprising at all - but also as a percentage of the total population.
If it's chique right now, I'd suppose it's because of people like Madonna and Karballah, Jewish mysticism. What these celebrities do is actually neither Karballah nor Judaism. In fact, I don't believe women are even allowed to do Karballah. So they're converting to a sort of pop culture manifestation of faith. I suppose you could compare it to Scientology.
