Again because the child cannot know what she is consenting to and they won`t accept a marriage license application signed in crayola.

In both these consent cases there is harm done.

This argument is sheer folly. I would hope that you (or the people that influence your answers) are mature enough to understand the concept of mutual consent between two adults. Those that are not mature enough to grasp this simple concept should have no voice in this process. If you are mature enough to understand it, then you also understand that the argument you present is ludicrous.
And yes, we have all seen the question posed - "What about a man and a toaster?"
Please try to keep the conversation above that level.

You know, I don't know if I voted in this poll or not but I'd have to go with the 2nd option even though I disagree with it. I do not believe that homosexuality is a sin.

I don't think I would vote either way...It's not my place to judge anyone and although I don't like the idea of homosexual marriages and feel it takes something away from the instution of marriage I will not stand in anyones way in their rights to do what they feel fit no matter what I think!

All laws discriminate.... against murderers, theives etc..... justice/morality is not something that should be decided upon by popular vote.... and a majority view of something is not inherently evil/bad.

That being said.... I would not vote against homosexual marriage.

I appreciate that Scott, but when someone commits murder or steals something, there is a victim. So, for me, that would be a discerning factor.

I would not vote to keep homosexuals from getting married. The government should not be in the business of enforcing any one religion's belief system.
