I believe Islam is a very peace loving. The trouble is that most Muslim countries suffer from abject poverty and conditions. As such, many are illiterate (through no fault of their own).

That means that, in practice, the religion can only be as good as the person teaching the principles.

Only if the one reading is arrogant enough to say the person who wrote its explanation is not sufficient and he takes it upon himself to say well this is what he really meant. And that is what is happening.

True, but you must remember michel that the Prophet and many of his companions were illiterate. Yet they still learned it verbatim. So illiteracy is not an excuse from out standpoint if the person's intention is to learn the words they can. This is one of the many miracles of Quran I know a brother who does not understand one word of Quran yet he memorized it all.

If it were so easy to distinguish good from bad, why is NOONE from al-Azar/one of the leading muftis of SA/Morocco/France etc etc/or the president of the Europena Fatwas or Ramadan speaking clearly about that?…waht did we have after all this blood shed? one (inconclusionated) fatwa from Spain!
Why is it that just a tiny minority thinks of seeing or finding the truth while the big imams and big scientists of islamic jurisprudence are still blind? IS IT SO DIFFICULT? In other religions it is clear what haram/halal or a sin is, why has islam so huge difficulties?
I have big, but very big dooubts about that!
And please don’t talk about customs/habits/integration/colonialism and so on…I don’t see any african blowing himself up in Europe or anywhere else. Islam has now been around for 1300+years and such bad habits should have disappeared. While Christianity “took over” on the Roman empire, even the barbars, while invading, dismissed their bad habits…why is this not the case in islam?
PS: read carefully the Spanish fatwa…at no level based on textual evidence (just 5:32…but FORGETTING 5.33?). The same happens to the grand mufti of Paris and even Cair is talking about innocence and distinguishes betweeen innocent and not innocent but doesn’t define either! Thanks God lots of people are of good faith and are of good sense"

All of them did and i have tons of fatawas against these acts but all of it are in arabic.

You just have to google in any good islamic website and you can ask them about it or you can google within the site itself.

So you don't want them to say who is the good guy and who is the bad one?

Do you want them to condemn themselves or what?

They always clearly state that this is not from islam then people come and say:

huh? what was that? we didn't hear anything.
