Austin Kline writes an article from a quote in David Moats' book Civil Wars: A Battle for Gay Marriage, that deals with a reality that is "surely true for some" but not borne out in the actions of the Religious Right. Kilne quotes the story of the son of Sharon Underwood

I've never believe in the hate the sin but love the sinner thing. I've never met anyone who thought that way actually act on the loving the sinner. They choose to act on hating the sin. They choose hate. The cliché is a semantic joke.
