What does it mean to be a true member of a faith or belief system? This question has come up several times on different threads. Examples include but are not limited to these statements: "To be a true Wiccan, one must join a Coven"; "Latter Day Saints are not true Christians"; "Christian Wiccans can not exist due to a contradiction of faiths" Are these or any combination of similar statements valid? Why?

No, because the people making those statements are ignorant polemicists without a true grasp of the belief system they are rebuking.
