My friend came up with this and I found it interesting......
I'm sure that the blind/people with glasses/people with extra fingers/people born without hands don't share your same sentiment that the human body is a "perfect creation." How is the human body a perfect creation if: 1)70% of all fertilized eggs fail to develop to parturition 2)What is the rationale behind human anatomy where we have a extensor coccygis, a muscle on the posterior side of the coccyx, a muscle that when it contracted, it would raise the coccyx (rudiment of the tail)? The Extensor coccygis is a slender muscular fasciculus, which is not always present; it extends over the lower part of the posterior surface of the sacrum and coccyx. It arises by tendinous fibers from the last segment of the sacrum, or first piece of the coccyx, and passes downward to be inserted into the lower part of the coccyx. It is a rudiment of the Extensor muscle of the caudal vertebræ of the lower animals. http://www.bartleby.com/107/115.html 3)Why do we lack the metabolism for 8 essential amino acids? 4)Why do we require other metabolic molecules that we cannot create, ie vitamins? 5)If we are so perfect, why do 25% of all humans will develop at least one colon polyp during their lifetime? 6)Why does the intermediates of our primary form of metabolic consumption of oxygen involve the creation of deadly oxides and free radicals? 7)Why does the human body require cell "murder" and self-suicide (ala apoptosis), if we are so perfect? 8)Why do many people suffer from hyper-immune stimulation of non-dangerous molecules, known as allergies? 9)Why cannot our "perfect" bodies find a novel way to combat HIV? 10)Why does our immune react to large-scale infections with an immune response that causes our organs to shut down, and in many cases lead to death (sepsis)? There's ten basic and simple questions. If we are such "perfect creations," please answer how those questions fit into your "logic." |

You can't ask "why" questions of God in a philosophical debate, the answer comes back as "God is mysterious, it isn't for us mere mortals to challenge his ways."

It's perfect because no other creature could create as God did so, isn't it?
