Not quite. Myths with gods become men dying for the redemption of the world are all over the place, and were all over the place long before they took shape in Christian mythology.

Prometheus, Adonis, Tammuz, Osiris, Mithras . . . read Joseph Campbell's "Hero With a Thousand Faces" for more examples, and details about each. While there are many differences from story to story, the basic arc is the same from one to another - the god undertakes to endure human suffering such as torture or death (and sometimes both) to bring the Thing of Greatest Value to humanity for the redemption of the world.

I'm familiar with some, but I have not been impressed with most god-myths which have been explained in distinctive Christian terms.
