God but not Gods? (Jehovah, Revelation, theist, Zeus, God)

I doubt one god most days. Multiple gods just give me even more of a headache.

In my opinion nothing has changed for thousands of years.

The Greeks had Zeus and other, lesser, gods. The Egyptians had Ra and many other gods.

Nowaday's monotheist's have God (Jehovah, Allah, Yahweh...) and the angels.

It's all just humanity trying to understand revelation. We still have a long way to go.

For everything. Since I believe everything moves toward God, anything not moving toward God will a) die and b) never really get fulfilled to it's totality.

I'm not sure. How does a plurality of gods make this difficult or impossible?

If pantheism or panentheism is correct, then multiple gods would all be part of the singular god. At that point, if you're worshipping gods, you're already worshipping god. I prefer to cut out the middle step.

If god is omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent and eternal, then any additional gods would be redundant. While lesser gods would still be possible, I don't see a compelling reason to worship them. I'll stick with the big one.

As a matter of personal preference, I prefer to take all my problems to one god.

I won't claim monotheism is correct, but it is what I believe.

I believe in the God of the Bible because I have had direct experience with Him and His Son Jesus the Christ...

I dismiss other beings which may call itself/themselves god(s) because God has told me through His word, as recorded in the Bible, to...
