I am an Atheist. (Earth, beliefs, creation, hell, after life)

As an Atheist, I am fire-proof, I have no sin whatsoever, I am totally sin free, I will not be going to a Heaven or a Hell, I am however dying, and one day I will be dead, (when everyone who is aware of my presence has died, it will be as if I had never existed.) I am just an ordinary unremarkable man, just one of Billions living and dying on this planet, FOR NOW, Billions have gone before and Billions will come after, untill it all ends, and man is no more, that is how it has always been, and that is how it always will be, we can come up with all kinds of ideas and theories about how we got here and where we are going, but the bottom line is, it will all come to an end one day.
I am also a happy man, happy I was born, (because billion and billions were not) and when my time comes to go, I will not be worried about dying, I will not want to go, but like any other animal living on this planet, I will die.

This statement to me works as a statement of belief, but not one of fact.

It would be like me suggesting that I don't believe in the law of gravity, therefore I'm not bound by it. Either gravity exists or it does not, regardless in my belief. Gravity existed before Newtonian physics.

Similarly god either exists or does not exist. Our belief or disbelief (or understanding / misunderstanding) does not affect what is.

As a statement of faith, your post is as valid as my beliefs. As a statement of fact, it lacks something ... just as if I stated that my beliefs were absolute fact.

What was the point of my Post?
The point was, no matter what we believe or think, or how much we try to convince ourselves or each other, or what writings we read or things we do or don't do, how many people we kill, or love, or hate, means nothing, absolutely nothing. we live and we die, just like a cat or a dog.
We cannot believe in death, it cannot possibly be the end when we die, there has got to be more to life than death, in fact, to show how much we will not accept death, we are able to convince ourselves there is more, and no one, but no one will tell us it is not so, we gather together to give each other support, we write it down to prove it's true, and anyone who does not accept the truth, is a heretic, how dare they say it is not the truth, burn them, kill them, I will not let my children be contaminated by them.

Is this how you view life? In this case how does life has any value. Where is the purpose of life. It can't be that we are all here for no purpose whatever. It can't be that all this creation, this universe exist with no purpose behind its creation.

What? So you are just saying that we can't prove life after death.....that's an obvious DUH.....But some of us bleieve in it and KNOW it is true, you aren't going to change anyone who feels like that around here.

Peace, I think you might be confusing fear with truth, the fear you have of dying without a religion, is not the same as having a religion because you believe it's true, you are not sure, so you are hedging your bets.
If your God knows everything, he will know you are only believing because you are afraid, not because you believe.
