It's a reminder of what Jesus willingly suffered to help humanity.

What's so bad about that? It reminds many people daily that they too, can make sacrifices that make a difference in people's lives.

I don't have a crucifix with Christ hanging from it in my house.

I'm quite fond of crucifixes (jeepers...I sound like Louis from Interview, there) and crosses.

When I see a cross it reminds me of what Christ DID for me. He perished on a cross...carrying the weight of the world's sorrow, pain...sin. He took it all upon Himself...died for me and was then resurrected...and now I too can pick up my OWN cross and follow Him and will live eternally with Him because of what happened in his death and resurrection.

What happened on the cross and the resurrection is the heart of Christianity...it's by the cross...tthe precious bloodshed on the cross that I have life.

I think all Christians should wear crosses. It's a representation of the symbolic worth of a Christian. It's pallid incompetence hanging on a tree, the failure, the ****-up, the impulsive weakling crying out to be heard, worthlessness, and the song of the capricious *******.
