The universe is not moral nor amoral. It is purely neutral. It just functions according to set laws which from time to time create hardship for people. It doesnt single out anyone to do evil to them. Reality is full of problems because humanity makes them more than nature. God is moral because the world is immoral. If He was immoral He would just violate everyone's free thinking and create the peace everyone wants. As long as there is free will there will be conflict. For those who believe in Satan's existance, his fall from heaven was a result of he choosing to go against God. The world is viewed as immoral because humans make it that way. God just leaves us to face the consequences of our decisions as any good parent would.

Amoral means neutral basically. The universe doesn`t care what happenes to whom whatsoever. There is no underlying moral code in the universe as their are physical laws.

If you take religious content out from the definition of morality, it might be easie to see why the world is amoral:
Quote:
Once again, science and philosophy approach of the question of morality is much more straight forward, simple, and logical, instead of trying to wedge in God to account for the existence of such a thing as morality, which is actually twisted around by priests in the early days to allow control over the mass....... |
