The only reason why people choose to believe in God is the fear of eternal damnation. Or to cover up, or feel better about, something that they need forgiveness for. In my opinion, most, if not all, people who are religious are cowardly people who are looking for acceptance somewhere.
So the only reason why people believe in God is because of fear, acceptance, repentance, and naiveness. |

The only reason non-theist don't believe in God/s is because they want to do what ever they want.
How do you like them apples? Both the above statement and what you said is silly. ~Victor Last edited by Victor; 11-03-2005 at 01:02 PM. |

The only reason non-theists don't believe in god is because they are all immoral sob's who don't want to be "restricted" by any laws at all.
How do you like them apples, too?

Amazingly, as silly as they are, you have not came up with an argument to it. |

Name the positive reasons... And I am not even going to respond to "Because of that fact, I am left in doubt that you know much of anything about courage. Intellectual courage or even physical courage." because it is so inane. |

You sentence should say: The only reason why some people believe in God is because of fear, acceptance, repentance, and naiveness. For others it just seems to make sense, even if they have no evidence. Nothing to do with fear or acceptance or repentance or being naive.
