Default Legalism vs. License

Within the spetrum of moral legalism to moral license where should we find ourselves in the context of salvation? Does God's Law apply to those who are saved? If so, to what extent?
What is the minimum requirement for us to be right with God? Does God meet that requirement or do we? How free is a "believer" vs. an "unbeliever?"

Debate: Legalism vs. License

What do you think?
