I was talkin bout this with a christian dude on MSN.

Can God be destroyed or slain or killed? What from? Hw did jesus "die" for our sins ? I wasn't even there or born. If God is eternal what can he be ended with?

God can't be killed. Jesus didn't die for our sins. His death is debatable. God might be able to end his/hers/its/hirself if he/she/it/zie really wanted to.

It's all swamp gas and weather balloons here.

God cannot be destroyed. He is the beginning and the end.

Jesus was part mortal (his mother was Mary) and part God (his father was God). Being part mortal allowed him to be subject to death, but lets be clear: He wasn't killed. He choose to "give up the ghost."

If he is all-powerful, he must have it within his power to kill himself.

If he shall continue to exist for all eternity, the he can not take himself out of existence. That means he can not be all-powerful.

There is an inherent contradiction in saying "God is omnipotent" or "God is all-powerful." He can't be.
