The Divine couldn't dwell in you if your weren't human. Those aspects of yourself learn from each other. I have heard it said that God wants to become human. Don't some humans want to be Divine? There is a balance there. One can't exist without the other. You talk about immortality. What we find in ourselves is the Eternal. The Eternal can't be destroyed.
When the first experience occurred I knew I had to shift my mind back a notch so I worked hard and provided for my young family.

I knew I had to be grounded at that time.

The human nature is only covered or kept at bay because I took it up again and it was still intact with all the same attributes.
It took several months to become comfortable again with all aspects of my nature and character traites.

I think I could stay much longer than three days, but I could never be immortal in a human body. Immortality is a future reward.

I do not intend killing myself but ceasing all my own endeavours and thinking through my projects.

There is a point that is achievable where all mind and thought is centered on Christ.
The Bible clearly decribes the process and I could post it but I need a rest from the computer at the moment.

thanks

Satan nexts tempts Adam & Eve to eat of the forbidden fruit. In doing so they become self-willed. They no longer understand GOD's will. They begin to confuse their desires with those of GOD's. THIS IS WHERE ALL EVIL STARTS.
GOD is the creator----what HE wants for HIS creation is all that matters.
It is only HIS love that allows HIM to forebear. It is only HIS love that makes a way; however, it was because of GOD's perserverance that you and I exist today and are in a place to accept GOD's Salvation. Anyother course would not have allowed us to ever exist. ALL OF THIS IS FOUND IN GOD'S HOLY WORD; however, you must be willing to read it and pray for the GOD's understanding of it...

Exactly. And because god knew what Lucifer would do before he even created him (omniscience) and because god created the rebellious nature of Lucifer and allowed him to act upon it, god is responsible for evil, if indirectly.

Oh, sorry about that!

We are talking about god though, so technically....

Could we get a more clear definition of the topic?

Well, you see that "technically" we were created for GOD's purpose and GOD's ends.
We don't have the mind of GOD. This would place GOD smack in the very center of EVERYTHING.

Of course GOD created Lucifer and knew what he would do, that doesn't mean that GOD forced Lucifer to do anything. The very intent of the CREATION of man may just be that GOD wanted to experiance HUMANITY in a personal way. Knowing everything about something isn't the same as becoming a part of that something... The simple fact is that CHRIST did just that... HE became baby, grew up, and gave up HIS life. He did however rise again. We fit His purpose -----GOD doesn't have to fit ours.

Littlenipper you are off topic. I will start another thread on Lucifer. Look for it in Religious Debates.

The topic is God Centered Discussions. Allan has been discussing his experience of operating from his inner Christ. Go back and read his posts.

if u believed we were created in God's image u would know the key to why we have free-will. God intervenes only when necessary and we ask him.
