Default Please be understanding

I'm not sure if this should be a debate, but it is rather a question. While on RF, there have been a number of protestants who have asked about the Catholic faith (threads, and a few pm's). I would then give them the answer, yet they refused to believe it. I would like anyone who has asked such questions to hear me out. If you ask someone about their faith, please don't arrogantly disregard their answer, and claim to know more about their faith then they do. If someone explains part of his/her religion, they are not just making stuff up (not of RF anyway). So please understand that when I, or anyone else says something about their faith, please don't start an argument if that truly is the religion's belief system. Threads such as the one started by Yami earlier today.

Thank you for understanding. This will keep good feelings between everyone, and not create tension.

This is the folder for religious debates. If a person does not want to debate about religions, ask the question in the folder for the respective faith.

I understand what you mean, though. However, it would be nice, if, in answering questions, to give them a source. If, at least, they do not believe you, that is.

I have given several people in pm's sources, but for some reason, they think they know more about the Catholic faith, than Catholics.

Debating is fine, but Yami and some others don't so much debate as insistantly nag at one point or another, which in the end might really just be an opinion more than anything. This forum is meant to help us understand each other, not another ground for us fight each other.
