Seriously what makes sex sacred? Why is it not sacred when animals do it? Whether it be humans or animals, sex is to reproduce. And thankfully we humans are intelligent enough that we have made birth-control so it doesn't have to lead to offspring. We can do it just because it feels good. And other animals do it just for pleasure. Just look up the monkey and frog on YouTube.

You don't think the act of sex is something powerful that deserves respect? It doesn't inspire you to awe or wonder? It doesn't instill in you happiness or pleasure?
There are many reasons why a person or culture may regard something as sacred. It is not hard to see how an experience as powerful as sex can be regarded as sacred. It forges and breaks human relationships, and additionally is the mode of procreation for our species. Something of such tremendous transformative power definitely deserves respect and careful use. However, unlike Neko, I wouldn't necessarily say that prostitution is inherently disrespectful of the power of the sexual act. Nay, to understand the sacred mysteries of sex one has to actually do it. It's something to indulge in (responsibly!), not put in some untouchable lockbox.

It's not misogyny at all because the fact is, men and women are different. Most men would queue up for free sex , if they were to be getting paid as well there would be a line one mile long! A woman doesn't need to pay for sex so by selling herself she is abusing her natural feminine gift. Thus, slightly immoral. |

That one. That one is definitely immoral. It robs me of the joy of growing them myself.

It is natural for a man to have sex with many different women - all part of his biological programming , whether he pays for it or not is completely irrelevant. A woman , however, does not have this need, so she is circumventing her maternal instincts here and using them in the wrong manner. Last edited by nnmartin; 03-04-2012 at 12:02 AM.. |

Actually, very atractive men that could get any women they want could sell themselves to women generaly considered ugly and would have a lot of buyers. This women wouldnt do it with every man, but with handsome men, so they pay for it, because they wouldnt be able to naturaly get it. It exists. Trust me.
