Since I don't believe man is made in gods image, I don't think women were either.

What do you believe, since you don't believe man was made in GOD's image

Implying that man was made in god's image is based on two presumptions.
1. God exists, or even has an image 2. Man is closest to god. Since I don't believe either, I believe man is man, and god is tao.

the bible says man was made in the image of elohim. elohim is plural as in gods/angels. God does not have any specific image, we cannot make an idol of God because of this.
But to answer your question i would say woman was probably made in the image of man. (not that i think man is more important in ANY way than woman in case anyone wants to attack this )

But wouldn't that make man closer to GOD than woman ?

I 'm sure I answered this yesterday, under a different heading - either that or I'm having prophetic (as opposed to pathetic) dreams.
I wonder if the 'in his own image' doesn't represent the ability to Love, to 'create' a life (ie have children together with a partner) - all those attributes of his that we know of in our existance here on Earth ? Being part of nature, representing, each one of us, a little part of God - gender being totally unimportant ? ![]()

Tao is not a "who," but a "what." It is the ultimate force that creates and destroys. Neither good nor evil, loving or hating, etc... Just is.
