trishtrish10,

A friendly piece of advice: study some very elementary physics and stop making a total fool of yourself. Choose material suited for ten- to twelve-year-olds. That was the age span when I learned those things, and I think it much the same today. http://www.queenhill.demon.co.uk/radiation/whatis.htm has a rather good explanation of different kinds of radiation, like gamma rays, X rays, ultraviolet, light, infrared, heat rays, microwaves, radio waves...

I believe in neither reincarnation nor souls, but I don't find that "how could a baby develop some sort of life as suggested by hindu religion in so short a time, especially an unborn baby." is a valid argument against reincarnation. It would be perfectly logical if a baby got another chance of starting a new life as a baby - perhaps even more logical than if a person who has lived a long life would start again as a baby.

ok, i have a question 4 Gerani. i enjoy exploring religions n have a slight understanding of hinduism, but im still uncertain of how hindus believe u exit samsara. is it through continuing good deeds, or what? because i read sumwhere that u can reach the plane of existance of the gods through good deeds, but that u can only escape samsara through this plane of existance.

please help. im very confused.

there are several ways to exit samsara. one way is to devout yourself to a yoga (raja, karma, bhakti, jyana yogas).

The worker is called the Karma-Yogi. One who seeks this union through mysticism is called a Raja-Yogi. One who searches this union in love is a Bhakti-Yogi. And one who seeks this Yoga through philosophy is called the Jnana-Yogi.

besides the yogas you can meditate, recieve bessings from gurus and pray. you can attain enlightenment that way as buddha did.

there are other ways to. as the worker, you can attain godhead by devouting yourself to your work, people say when one devouts themselves into playing the veena (south indian classical insturment) you can attain salvation.

you can follow a teacher or guru like jesus, krishna, buddha or nanek. there are several ways.

its an individual that must find that path for himself/herself. there is no ONE path (contrary to what christians say). everyone has their own.

we all deceive ourselves at times sometimes it is a matter of life and death.

i am making statements about science in order to question some of the basics as well as discover new basics. does that mean anything to u or do u have a better teaching technique.

you choose what you want to do. if you want that path to be better, you can make it better for yourself. what path which is perfect for you may not be perfect for the next person.
