The laws are gone, but the morality remains. The laws dealt with the outward appearances, but the law of Grace deals with the heart. If you get the heart right, you don't have to worry about appearances. ![]()

It is when Chirtianity organized and people gathered under it's belief that peer pressure began to replace, to a degree, the authotritative mode. Certainly the reward of heaven is still authoritative in nature but now belonging to the group begins to play a large role. The end point of morality, without the influence of group association and obedience comes when principles of morality (and this is not denied to Christians) are resolved and internalized. |
